Trained and Certified in Pet CPR and First Aid
We have been pet owners and animal lovers all our lives. We grew up caring for our cats, dogs, horses, hamsters, bunnies, fish, an iguana, and a turtle. We have rescued animals from animal services and taken in strays.
We consider our animals to be family members and not possessions. We are extremely sensitive to their feelings and dedicated to their well being. We study and believe in non-aggressive behavior modification.
As a pet care professional I am a dedicated volunteer at the Contra Costa County Animal Services Department, where I assist the public in re-uniting with their lost pets. I introduce people to available animals, while giving them as much information and back ground as possible on the pets they are interested in adopting. I spend time socializing the animals, learning their habits, like, dislikes, and problem behaviors. I foster kittens that have lost their mothers and need to be bottle fed, until they are big enough to be adopted.
